We are opening just ten places for this intimate one-day event. Your experience includes professional glam makeup on-site, 30 minutes of creative full-body self-portraits, and 30 minutes of beautiful close-up portraits, plus refreshments, treats, a small gift, and all your photos.
How to prepare
- Arrive ready for your scheduled makeup appointment, with a clean face unless Veronika advises otherwise.
- Bring an outfit you love and any accessories or props that express your personality.
- Save a few posing ideas or inspiration photos on your phone if you'd like.
- Allow time for makeup and your two portrait experiences. Choose your exact makeup arrival time when you book. Plan for 1 hour 40 minutes in the studio.
This is a special photo-ready makeup experience, not a bridal makeup trial. Makeup styling is subject to the artist's event format and available time.

What does the $289 package include?
One guest receives 40 minutes of professional photo-ready makeup by Veronika, 30 minutes in the full-body self-portrait zone, and 30 minutes in the close-up portrait zone. All session photos, light refreshments, sweet treats, and a small surprise gift are included. Applicable sales tax is shown at checkout. Hair styling and bridal trials are not part of this package.
What time should I book, and how long will I be there?
Book the time you want your makeup appointment to begin. Arrival times on Monday, November 23, 2026 are 10:00 AM, 10:40 AM, 11:20 AM, 12:00 PM, 12:40 PM, 1:20 PM, 2:00 PM, 2:40 PM, 3:20 PM, and 4:00 PM, all in Charlotte time (Eastern). Each visit lasts about 1 hour 40 minutes. For example, a 10:00 AM booking has makeup until 10:40, full-body portraits until 11:10, and close-ups until 11:40.
Will I share the studio with other guests?
This is a coordinated event with staggered arrivals every 40 minutes. Other guests may be having makeup or using the other photo zone while you take your portraits. Each booking is for one guest, and each photo zone is scheduled for one guest at a time. You are not reserving the whole studio for exclusive use.
Is there a photographer, and do I need posing experience?
You take your own photos using our wireless clicker, professional camera, lighting, and mirror preview. There is no photographer directing your poses. No experience is needed. Bring a few saved posing ideas, take your time, and experiment during each 30-minute portrait session. Our team will explain how the setup works.
How should I prepare for my makeup appointment?
Arrive a few minutes before your selected time with a clean face and your hair ready as you would like it in the photos. Tell us about any cosmetic allergies, sensitivities, or products you need to avoid before the event. Contact the studio if you have a specific makeup request so we can check whether it fits the 40-minute format.
Can I bring outfits, accessories, or props?
Bring an outfit you feel good in and compact accessories such as a jacket, jewelry, sunglasses, or flowers. A simple layer change gives you variety without using much photo time. Outfit changes are part of your scheduled 30-minute zone time. Please leave glitter, confetti, liquids for throwing, and oversized or hazardous props at home.
Will I receive all my photos? Is retouching included?
All photos captured during your two portrait sessions are included, with no per-image fee. You will receive access through your HQ Portraits gallery. This event does not promise individual beauty retouching of every image. Ask the team about any additional editing you would like before booking.
How do I reserve my place?
Use Choose your arrival time, select November 23, 2026, and pick an available time in the event calendar. Enter your details and complete secure online payment. A time you only view or select is not a confirmed reservation. Your confirmation identifies the makeup arrival time and the full 100-minute visit.
Can I book with a friend?
Yes, each friend should reserve and pay for her own available arrival time. Each $289 package covers one guest, one makeup appointment, and her two portrait sessions. Booking consecutive times lets you attend the same event, but your makeup and photo-zone schedules will be staggered.
What if I am late or need to cancel?
Contact the studio as soon as possible. Because guests move between zones on a fixed timetable, a late arrival may reduce your makeup or photo time; we cannot promise to move the rest of the day. Cancellation and rescheduling follow the studio terms linked below. Since this event takes place on November 23 only, another event time depends on availability; contact us before requesting a change to another date.
Where is the event, and how do I find the entrance?
HQ Portraits is a family-owned self-portrait studio at 415 Minuet Lane, Suite E, Charlotte, NC 28217. Suite E is at the back of the building. Use our studio directions page before you travel. Makeup and both portrait sessions happen at this same location.
