HQ Portraits is Charlotte's private self-portrait studio. You trigger a professional camera with a wireless remote, see yourself in a live preview mirror, and shoot in total privacy — no photographer in the room. Magazine-quality lighting and gear, directed by you.

Book online → arrive 5–10 minutes early → quick 2-minute intro → private studio with mirror, remote, and your music → shoot at your pace → full digital gallery right away → select favorites → retouched delivery within 24 hours (next morning for sessions ending after 5 PM).

That is exactly who we built this for. You are alone with the mirror and remote — no photographer watching, no awkward direction, no performance pressure.

We are at 415 Minuet Lane, Suite "E", Charlotte, NC, 28217. Standard GPS often routes to the wrong front entrance of the business park. Search "HQ Portraits" in Google Maps or use our business profile link (https://share.google/a4qcWiYTrJOtq1Iod) — we are Suite E on the back side of the building.

We are open Monday - Sunday, from 10 am to 10 pm.

Yes. Ample free parking is directly in front of our Suite E entrance.

Express includes 1 person. Signature and Iconic Spotlight include up to 3 people (infants under 1 are free). You can add extra guests during booking when your package allows it. The studio comfortably fits about 6–7 people in frame.

Yes — we are pet-friendly. Add the Pet Fee ($35 per pet) when you book, notify us in advance, and keep pets leashed or contained when not shooting. Maximum 2 pets unless approved otherwise.

Sessions are booked back-to-back, so we cannot accommodate early arrivals for makeup or prep. Please arrive with hair and makeup ready to maximize your shooting time.

Yes. HQ Portraits works well for birthdays, bachelorette parties, brand collaborations, content days, and private events. Contact us to discuss your needs.

Cancel or reschedule with 24+ hours notice for a full refund or complimentary reschedule. Less than 24 hours is non-refundable. One complimentary reschedule is included; additional reschedules or late reschedule requests incur a $35 fee.

Yes. Email Hi@hqportraits.com before booking if you need any accommodations so we can prepare the space.

Unlimited captures during your session — every frame appears in your instant gallery. Your package includes selected favorites retouched within 24 hours: Express 5, Signature 15, Iconic Spotlight 20. Realistic pace: Express ~30–50 frames, Signature ~150–300, longer sessions 300+ when time allows.

Your full digital gallery is available right after the session. Selected favorites are retouched within 24 hours, or the next morning for sessions ending after 5 PM.

No — and that is intentional. You get unlimited captures in your instant gallery, then choose the favorites included in your package for natural retouching (skin cleanup and color correction). We do not auto-retouch every frame.

Professional Canon R-series cameras, studio-grade Godox lighting, and high-resolution JPEG files suitable for large prints and professional use.

High-resolution JPEGs are standard. RAW files are available as a session add-on for $50.

Never without your explicit opt-in. For maximum offline privacy, add Fort Knox Privacy on Signature or Iconic Spotlight (+$35) — photos go to a sealed USB with no cloud gallery.
