Agreement to Terms

By using this website, booking a session, or purchasing a gift card, you agree to the terms that govern studio services, payment handling, client conduct, cancellations, and lawful use of the site.

Booking, Pricing, and Card-on-File Authorization

Current prices and package details are published on the booking flow and related pricing pages. Reservation payments secure a specific date and time. You authorize HQ Portraits to charge the card on file for permitted incidentals, approved add-ons, qualifying rescheduling fees, damage, or other charges described in the governing terms.

Cancellations and Rescheduling

Full refund or complimentary reschedule eligibility generally requires at least 24 hours of notice. Emergencies may be reviewed case by case. Repeat rescheduling or short-notice changes may trigger non-refundable administrative fees.

Studio Rules and Safety

Clients must follow studio safety rules, including restrictions on smoking, vaping, open flames, candles, incense, sparklers, alcohol misuse, and unsafe handling of props or equipment. Violations may result in immediate termination of the session without refund and additional fees where applicable.

Equipment and Property Damage

Clients are responsible for damage caused by their party to cameras, lighting, backdrops, mirrors, furniture, or other studio property. Repair, replacement, and cleaning costs may be charged to the card on file.

Media Release and Privacy

Images remain private by default. Public use of client photos by HQ Portraits requires a separate opt-in model release or explicit consent. Additional privacy details are available on the Privacy Policy page.

Website Use and Intellectual Property

All website content, branding, imagery, and related materials are protected by applicable intellectual property law. You may not reproduce or redistribute site assets without permission.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by North Carolina law. Venue for applicable disputes is in Mecklenburg County, North Carolina, unless mandatory law requires otherwise.
