How much is a Christmas photoshoot at HQ Portraits?
$150 on Sunday, November 15, $175 on November 22 and $200 on November 29, per session for up to 5 people. December sessions are $250; December dates are announced soon. The $125 November 8 early bird was a presale for existing HQ clients by email. Applicable sales tax is shown at checkout.
What's included in the Christmas session?
30 private minutes on our Christmas set for up to 5 people, unlimited photos and a private digital gallery. Every photo from your session is included, with no per-image fee.
Is there a photographer?
No. HQ Portraits is a self-portrait studio. Lights and camera are already set up, the camera sits behind a large mirror, and you shoot with a remote while you see every photo on screen right away.
When do we get our photos?
Your photos go to your private HQ Portraits digital gallery, where you can download, print and share them. Download the photos you love to keep them forever.
How are Christmas sessions scheduled?
Sessions start every 40 minutes from 10:00 AM to 9:20 PM Charlotte time: 30 minutes on the set, then a short reset for the next family. Choose your Sunday and an available start time online and pay securely to confirm.
Can we bring our own props and outfits?
Yes, please do. Matching pajamas, ugly sweaters, Santa hats, vintage props: anything that makes the photos feel like you. Please leave glitter, confetti and anything that could damage the backdrop at home.
Is the Christmas set available all year?
No. It is a seasonal setup, available on selected Sundays in November and December only.
Where is the studio?
415 Minuet Lane, Suite E, Charlotte, NC 28217, off Tyvola Road. Suite E is at the back of the building; use our studio directions page before you travel.
