Why book three maternity sessions instead of one?
Many clients book one beautiful third-trimester session and love the result. Others wish they had started earlier: for an announcement, a mid-pregnancy update, or a visual record of how the pregnancy changed over time.
Anastasia already plans a return visit with her baby: "No photographer in the room. That is what got him to say yes. Now he wants to come back when the baby is here." Marina's family session followed the same rhythm: private room, short bursts with the kids, no one directing from behind a camera.
The Milestone Series is for that second group. It turns maternity photos into a paced story instead of a single deadline.
How does the three-session milestone structure work?
Session 1 is for an early announcement or first visible milestone. Session 2 is a mid-pregnancy update with the same backdrop or a new look. Session 3 is your full maternity portrait session near the usual third-trimester window many clients choose.
You do not need exact medical trimester timing. We adjust around your comfort, schedule, and availability.

Same backdrop or different chapter each time
Repeating the same backdrop and a similar outfit makes progression easy to see in albums and nursery art. Changing the look each time creates three distinct chapters instead of one visual timeline.
Both approaches work in a self-portrait studio because the lighting and setup stay consistent visit to visit.
Partner and family add-ons
Each Signature session in the series includes up to three people, so you can bring your partner or child into one or more milestones. Many clients keep session 1 solo or couple-focused, then add family frames later.
Pricing and how booking works
The Pregnancy Milestone Photo Series is $338, three Signature sessions for the price of two. Start by booking your first Signature session now. After purchase, we coordinate the remaining two studio credits with you directly.
This is intentionally a tagged first-session booking until package credits are fully modeled in the booking flow.
What happens if timing changes
Pregnancy timing is not perfectly predictable. If you need to move a milestone session because of comfort, travel, provider guidance, or schedule changes, contact the studio and we will work with you on rescheduling the remaining credits.
Do not treat the three sessions as rigid medical appointments. Treat them as a flexible story you can pace around your body.
